Handled as an external withholding boundary. U.S. withholding may require approved external inputs or a provider integration rather than a native Tork tax calculation.
Payroll in Tork is a sequence with owners, not a single button. Salary structure, worked time, calculation, review, approval and the published payslip are connected steps inside the same workspace your people and attendance data already live in.
Nothing in the chain is implicit. A run does not become approved because time passed — someone with the permission to approve it approved it, and the record says so.
Payroll is separated by legal entity, country, currency and approval chain, so teams are not scanning every market on one crowded screen.
How statutory calculation works. Tork resolves payroll workflows by employee country and legal entity. Statutory calculation methods vary by market and may use supported native rules, configured employer rules or approved payroll/withholding inputs depending on the country.
Handled as an external withholding boundary. U.S. withholding may require approved external inputs or a provider integration rather than a native Tork tax calculation.
Native rules are supported for statutory components including PF, EPS and EDLI, subject to configuration and employee eligibility.
Configurable UAE pay items, run in AED against the relevant legal entity and approval chain.
What Tork is not. Tork is not marketed as a universal global tax engine, and it does not claim automatic statutory calculation for every country or legally compliant payroll everywhere. Country coverage, calculation method and any provider requirement are confirmed during discovery for the markets you actually run.
Payroll and payslip access requires appropriate authenticated permissions. Employees reach their own published payslips through self-service; company payroll control is a separate permission that is granted deliberately.
Payroll answers are only useful when they are specific. Bring your legal entities and markets and we will tell you what is native, what is configured and what needs an external input.
